Rebuilding Your Career or Job After a Long Break - The 4 Little Tricks

It is not uncommon to hear stories of woe and sorrow from people who have lost their jobs or attempted a career change. There are many situations in which one can lose his or her job. It includes - economic down turn, companies going bust, long-term sickness, a family requirement or plain wrong decision to quit a cozy job. If you are one those going through a hard phase and in despair, there is good news for you. You can redeem your life; it is within reach of every mortal.
No Situation is Hopeless Situation
If you thought that everything is hopeless, you are mistaken; rebuilding your career or finding a new job is not as difficult as you may have imagined. If you are willing to accept changes and willing to learn or develop a new skill, you will ultimately return back to mainstream life in very little time. It is your will to change that matters; opportunities galore whatever the doomsday predictors may say. A little planning and action are what you need - nothing more, nothing less.
To rebuild your career do these.
· Apply to as many employers as you can. The best way to be visible is to submit your resume in a job portal online. Do not be frustrated if you don't get a reply immediately though you would like to hear at the earliest. The benefits of applying in many portals are many - they are free, chances of being noticed are many and you don't have to visit your employers before they evince interest in you.

· Revisit your network. There is always a network to everyone though we don't recognize it. Visit all your friends, acquaintances and people you have known in the past and let them know your predicament. You can also tap your alumni resources. If you have a fairly large network, one of them should be able to find a job for you. It may not be what you are dreaming about, but it will help you stay afloat for some time.
· Become an apprentice. If you plan to acquire a new skill in a profession you think has a bright future, then it is better not to be too concerned with your salary or perks. Join as apprentice under a successful professional and learn the tricks of the trade. You shouldn't mind even if the new profession is alien to you. Endure the small difficulties you will experience in the beginning. As time withers, you should be able to fly with your own wings.
· Think about self-employment. Did you know that governments all over the world encourage people to take to self-employment? Almost every country sets aside money to encourage individuals to take to self-employment. If you have some experience servicing electric goods, you can consider setting up a workshop for appliance servicing for example. Financial assistance for self-employment projects come at highly discounted interest rates, with a fair government subsidy. Help is also available for training and teaching the niceties of doing business and winning customers.
